ENERGY COMPANY EMPLOYEE FIRED FOR FACEBOOK RANT AGAINST THOSE WITHOUT POWER AFTER STORM


Another ill-advised posting by an employee, with the obvious consequences...

A DTE Energy Co. employee in Detroit was fired this week over a scathing Facebook post that railed against customers calling in to complain about a lack of power after weekend storms.
Nearly 300,000 DTE customers in the area were without power after Sunday’s weather.
Rachel Burnett, a woman tasked with handling calls from customers, wrote on her Facebook page:
